Commission Agreement

This agreement outlines the details of a custom artwork commission between Amy Elizabeth Crabb and the Client listed below. It is intended to keep the process clear, thoughtful, and enjoyable from beginning to completion. Thank you for trusting me to create something special for you.

Services

The Artist will create an original, hand-painted piece based on the agreed-upon size, color palette, and overall direction discussed with the Client. Each piece is one of a kind and reflective of the Artist's style.

Timeline

The timeline will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking. Completion dates are estimated to the best of the Artist's ability, but may vary slightly depending on studio schedule, and any changes or requests made by the Client.

Payment

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of signing this contract and will reserve the Client's place on the Artist's calendar. The remaining balance is due at the time of completion and prior to delivery or pick up, following approval of the final piece. Shipping and/or installation costs are not included in the original quote.

Process

Progress updates may be sent throughout the process. Once the Artist believes the piece is complete, she will reach out for feedback before the piece is signed and varnished. Additional revisions beyond minor adjustments may be subject to an additional fee. Final approval is required before completion, and no changes will be made after that point.

Delivery

Shipping is available at an additional cost. Local pick up from the Artist home studio may also be arranged. The Artist is not responsible for delays once the artwork has been shipped.

Cancellation

Due to the custom nature of commissioned work, all sales are final and deposits are non-refundable. If the Artist is for some reason unable to complete the commission, a full refund will be issued.

Ownership

The Artist retains rights to the artwork and may share images for portfolio or promotional use. The Client may display and share the artwork with the appropriate credit given.

Trade Agreement

Trade professionals (interior designers, art consultants, gallerists, etc) receive a discount on the total commission price in exchange for an installation photo of the artwork in the completed space. An individual discount code will be given to trade professionals based on the agreement made between the Artist and the Trade Client.
